GTT Pro-cockpit Variable Boost Conversion (P001)
Our best selling product ­ over 1200 hundred sold! Features ­ Fully variable control from dashboard, power can be reduced when engine is cold, in poor weather conditions and for motorway cruising, therefore increasing engine & turbo life. Allows even higher peak power for short periods. Fully and correctly re-jetted carb. (jets). Boost 'ceiling' can be pre-set, preventing accidental over-adjustment. Superbly engineered quality with attractive polished finish. New super thin tubing and 'Camotzi Pro-grip' fittings (as used by Maclaren Formula 1). Tubing supplied in green, yellow, red, blue or black for fast and neat installation. The basis for all our conversions. Metal intercooler clamps are provided, modified ignition details and supplied with full instructions and diagrams for simple fitment. On it's own increases power by over 30%!

GTT 'Spider' Valve (P002)
For use with our Pro-cockpit in-car adjustable boost control. It allows the user to accurately pre-set both minimum (below standard if required) and maximum boost ceilings, using two adjustable and lockable controls in the engine bay. This prevents accidental over-adjustment plus below standard boost for motorway, cruising etc; saving petrol, turbo and engine wear. Easy to fit & easy to adjust.

GTT Closed Loop Dump Valve System (Twin version shown)
GT Tuningís system, exclusively for 5GT Turbos, took twelve months to develop and improves on the advantages of conventional universal application after-market dump valves in various ways:-
The system is closed loop which means when closing the throttle during gear change, the dump valve opens, but rather than waste the wasted charge, so to speak, our system actually re-circulates it using it to assist turbo spin up, keeping the turbo spinning faster, further reducing the dreaded lag.
Secondly, by using a long travel piston inside the dump valve, a larger exit is created for escaping air giving more efficient operation. Also, by using relatively low spring preload, the valve is kept open during gentle / normal acceleration. This means that the turbo is spinning faster than normal (although with virtually no load due to the closed loop). Should the throttle then be snapped fully open, the dump valve instantly closes and the extra turbo speed, already there, releases near instant response (low lag).
Turbo stress is greatly reduced due to virtually no back pressure onto the turbo during gear change. Wear is therefore reduced, which will increase the turbocharger's life-span. Combined with the above, we have revised the breather system to incorporate our 5GT 2-way breather filter. This gives further improvements by eliminating unwanted fumes from entering the engine intake, which will reduce pinking. As if all this were not enough, we have also included slight carburettor mods. to improve smoothness and give more progressive part throttle acceleration. Can be used silent or very noisy!

Contents of the kit are as follows:-
GT Tuning polished stainless steel 'T' section with machined grip grooves and offset outlet for optimum dump valve positioning (i.e. as near to the throttle as possible). GT Tuning 2-way breather filter. Carb. jet, quality silicon hosing (red, black or blue), all fittings, connectors and clamps. Full instructions / diagrams supplied for simple DIY fitting.

GTT 'Group A' Ram Raid Induction Kit
Fast Car Magazine R5GT Induction Kit Test "Gained 7 1/2 bhp in midrange ­ more than double any other achieved". This exciting product from GT Tuning has been flow bench tested against popular alternatives and gave good improvements to flow in each case.
How? The size of the filter used is far greater; the corrugated surface and extra dual laminate circular filter screen creating yet more intake area. Positioned inside the filter is a 'Group A' Ram Pipe. This is C.N.C. machined from solid HE30 aluminium, allowing a full 270º rolled edge, optimum trumpet shape and a counterbore at the narrow end to prevent a 'step' on the inside. This gives totally unrestricted flow and a very low intake temperature due to a removable flap in the wheelarch and an optional aluminium air ducting directing air from the front bumper. For sprint use the 'Ram Raid' Induction kit also allows the trumpet to be fitted directly onto the turbocharger intake for ultimate performance. ­ Although this method is not recommended for normal day to day use.

GTT Competition Cylinder Head Gaskets (P008)
Thicker and with more reinforced metal between the cylinders used reliably at 35 psi at UFC '97 and '99. Beware of imitations.

GTT Competition Head Set (P009)
Includes the above plus reinforced manifold gasket, rocker cover gasket and fibre washers, 2 x water pump gasket, end plate gasket and carb. base gaskets. We recommend the cylinder head is always skimmed on removal (minimum clean up only), therefore the full gasket set will always be required.

GTT Competition Cylinder Head Bolts (P010)
Set of ten, stronger. Allows additional tightening of the head bolts, plus less stretch and therefore less re-torquing. ­ well worth it. It's a lot of work and not worth cutting corners on.

These will not unwind and fall off, as the originals do. Prevents the manifold gasket from blowing.

GTT Low Compression Piston / Liner Sets (set of 4)
We don't actually recommend lowering the compression below standard. However, these are available and can be used to compensate for an over-skimmed head. Further reduction in compression results in fuel wastage, loss of low rpm power and requires excessive boost to compensate for it.

Cylinder Head Repairs (P016)
Over-skimmed heads, warped heads, distorted or burnt valves and seats, welding, worn guides etc. etc. Most heads can be repaired. Let us quote you on repair before you scrap it!

Again, very expensive new. These are available as a re-conditioned exchange unit at a huge saving. The corroded water unions are machined out and thicker replacement items fitted. The manifold is finally vapour blasted to give an 'as new' appearance.

Extensive testing and development over the last 5 years has finally resulted in two new exclusive;
GT Tuning camshafts
with carfully selected durations and lifts. These are the only camshafts available which improve allround on the standard item. (Remember the 12.64 second run used a standard cam.) Both are very driveable and perfectly suited to normal road use and race conditions. They are available on exchange or we can re-profile your own cam. FITTING This normally involves both removing the engine AND the cylinder head. However, GT Tuning have devised a method and custom made tooling to change the camshaft without doing either! This immense saving on both labour and parts (gaskets etc) is passed on to you. So let us quote you now!
